School Ideas

Do you want to help create a great Catholic (with a capital C) School?

Now you can.

Here are a few ideas to help you get started:   (This page is in the making.)

• Use Heroes of God, a Catholic book order.  (similar to S
  cholastic)

• Use a fundraiser that is also a faith-raiser.

• Have a Catholic Book and Film Fair.  (click the image for details)

• Implement Faith and Life catechetical materials.  (click the image for details)

• Use Catholic History books for 5 - 10th graders!  (see page 19)

• Use Saint and Bethlehem books in your Accelerated Reader program.  (see pages 8 & 9)

• Supplement classroom material with DVDs. (see pages 10 & 11)

• Supplement your library and teachers' lounge with Catholic books and films.  Add items through the book and film fair above.

• Use YOUCATs (the youth catechism) in the classroom.

• Offer CDs on parenting to your parents.

• Encourage the CD of the Month Club for families and teachers....a faith-raiser and fundraiser.

• Encourage the Truth Be Told Young Adult Download of the Month Club for high school students...a faith-raiser and fundraiser.
